About This Instance
A living meta-analysis platform that continuously monitors, classifies, and analyzes research on generative AI in academic research practice — including literature review automation, AI-assisted writing, peer review, research integrity, institutional governance, and human-AI collaboration in scholarly workflows.
What's inside this instance
Every paper in the field, classified by relevance and cross-validated by multiple independent AI perspectives. Filter by paradigm, methodology, evidence model, or full-text availability.
Datasets, questionnaires, measurement instruments, tools, and code repositories surfaced across the corpus — each linked back to the papers that use it.
Effect sizes extracted from the papers and converted to a common metric where the statistics allow, then pooled within a single paradigm into random-effects estimates with forest plots — never across different phenomena.
The field's highest-impact evidence gaps, ranked for frequency, depth, and feasibility. Each priority links to an investigation in The Lab and, where one exists, a living review.
Ask a question in plain language and a server-side AI agent investigates the corpus for you — pulling in the right specialist automatically and adapting its coaching from layperson to expert. Attach your own data, papers, or drafts.
How it works
New papers in ai-in-research are monitored continuously. As each one enters the corpus it is classified for relevance, tagged with its methodology and evidence type, and — for the most relevant work — read by six independent AI personas that extract a structured set of fields. A consensus algorithm resolves disagreements field-by-field and attaches an agreement score, and every factual claim must carry a verbatim quote from the source. Evidence gaps, pooled effect sizes, curated resources, and research priorities all emerge from that extracted evidence and update as the field grows — the analysis is never frozen at a point in time.

About LivingMeta
This instance runs on the LivingMeta platform — an open research infrastructure that turns a field's literature into a living, continuously updated evidence base rather than a one-off review.
